Kids Room Rugs
Real handmade rugs, just sized for a smaller room.
A nursery or kids' room doesn't need a separate category of rug - it needs the same quality you'd choose for any other room, just picked in a size and pattern that suits a smaller space and a busier daily life. We don't make novelty shapes for children's rooms - no stars, no cartoon outlines - every piece here is a genuine hand-knotted or hand-woven rug, the same as everything else we sell.
Sizing for a Smaller Room
Kids' rooms and nurseries tend to run smaller than a living room or master bedroom, so a small or medium rug is usually the right place to start. Our Size Guide has exact measurements if you want to check against your specific room before buying.
Why a Busy Pattern Helps
Kids' rooms see more spills, marks, and general wear than almost any other room in the house. A multi-color rug hides that kind of daily mess far better than a single pale tone ever could - worth considering if practicality matters as much as looks.
Real Wool, Not Synthetic
Every rug here is genuine wool - naturally soft underfoot for a child playing on the floor, without the synthetic fibers or off-gassing some machine-made kids' rugs carry. Wool is also naturally flame-resistant, a property that comes from the fiber itself rather than a chemical treatment.
Why RugZar
- Hand-knotted or hand-woven wool, the same standard as every rug we sell
- Sized to fit a nursery or child's room, not built for a full living room
- Every piece is one of a kind
- Free shipping across the USA and worldwide, arriving in 7–9 business days
A child's room changes fast enough on its own - the rug underneath it should be one thing that's actually built to last.
