Extra Long Runner Rugs

When one long runner still isn't long enough.

Some corridors genuinely outrun a standard runner length - this size exists for exactly that gap. Like our other collections, this spans every design tradition we carry: a finely knotted Persian piece, a bold tribal design, a flat-woven kilim, all sized for truly extended spaces.

Where Extra Long Runners Work Best

A few genuine, practical ways this size gets used:

• Truly grand corridors. In larger or more historic-style homes, a single hallway can run well beyond the length of a standard runner - this size covers that distance in one continuous piece.
• Multi-flight staircases. Where a standard long runner covers one flight, an extra-long piece can continue across a landing and up a second flight, keeping the look uninterrupted from floor to floor.
• Wide, extended galleries. Homes with a long entry gallery or open corridor connecting multiple rooms often need this scale to avoid gaps of bare floor between shorter pieces.

A Practical Note

Extra-long runners can exceed standard manufactured lengths, so if your hallway needs something even longer or a very specific fit, our Custom Rug program can build to your exact measurement. Given the length and weight involved, it's also worth planning for careful unpacking and placement when it arrives.
