Choosing the Right Size for Your Bed
Bed size is the most reliable starting point for sizing a bedroom rug:
- Twin or full beds. A medium rug at the foot of the bed adds warmth without overwhelming a smaller room.
- Queen beds. This is where a large rug earns its place - sized to extend well past the sides and foot of the bed for a consistent landing spot no matter which side you get up on.
- King beds. The largest standard bed size calls for the most floor coverage - worth checking exact room-by-room numbers before you buy.

Choosing a Design and Color
A rug doesn't need to match every other element in the room - a contrasting color or pattern often reads as more intentional than a perfectly coordinated one.
